Battery consumption is high

While the app is averahe to good, besides the audio issues while another sound is generated (like notifications from other apps, or even calendar events), the battery is going very fast to a very low level. I think the app should be optimized or i will give up using it. It is not ok to have 38% consumption reported by the iphone due to the background activities if only this app.
