I just started using this app. It is OK but needs some improvments: - Contacts: Contacts are sorted by first name only. No way to sort by last name - Answering a call: When swiping the new call notification on a locked screen, you are still required to press the Answer button to answer the call. You should only need to swipe the new call notification to have the call pick up.
I live by this app. OK that might be an exaggeration, but still it really is great. Only ask, please make an Apple watch add-on. Thank you!
Wont connect to our companys Jabber network. Which renders it useless. The end!
It wont show Voicemail in Phone Only Mode. Voicemail shows in Windows version. Showed briefly this morning but wouldnt let me tab from the password to set Server. Now it has disappeared again.
First off let me say that when it works, it works beautifully. Calls, meeting invites, everything is great when configured correctly. Im not sure if its a bug with this version or not (iPad version of Jabber works just fine) but every once in a while when launching the app, I get logged out of my phone services and cant log back in until I go and re-enter my server info and credentials. Its a weird bug that only seems to occur on iPhone deployments. Havent seen it happen on my iPad using the exact same information.
I mainly use chat function and it works well. However when I logout at night it will not stay logged out. As soon as someone sends a message to me the jabber app is immediately signed in again without my permission. And my status changes to available.
Not just instant messaging. The video and audio are very clear. Super impressed.
IM and Video capabilities are awesome. I love that it works for me on or off my corporate network. This keeps me in contact with teams back in the office when Im on the go.
I use Jabber constantly, and this latest version has solved all my problems. The executives a very happy, and so I am happy too :-) I hear Cisco is working with Apple, and I am excited to see what else they could do working together
Great feature set. Nice to see that the app works great across all of my different devices. Audio and Video calls are great.
New Apple Watch integrations are great!
Seems ok, but for something like this they REALLY need to fully support the split screen and pull over multitasking on the iPad Pro. This feature has been in the wild for a while. No excuse to not support it, especially for an app with a fairly simple UI.
The app is functional and works (usually) to IM and make voice/video calls, but when it doesnt work, theres not enough information provided. Only cant communicate with server. No further information.
This is a great app! The only thing I wish is that it was compatible with dual - core processing on new iPads (new iPads can run two apps if the apps are compatible with this feature). Jabber is not currently compatible with this and I wish that it was!
Since updating to 11.5.1 a few days ago, I cant connect to Phone Services. Big problem that needs fixed fast.
Only supports Ciscos "jabber" service; that wasnt obvious before installing. Maybe dont name your app after standard protocols.
I never write reviews. I now cannot sign in on my phone for Jabber. This is business critical and its not working. Will need to try and go back to a previous version.
Update on 3/22/16 does not work now. Unable to start app on iPad. Please fix. Thanks.
Doesnt run! Hoe can Cisco put out code that doesnt work!?!?
